RC Pune Central is known by its robust activities under Youth Avenue mainly Interact clubs including those at visually impaired and hearing impaired schools in Pune since 2004. Both these are performing exceedingly well with the strong support and guidance given by RCPC. Sudhrud Mandal, a NGO operating a school for Hearing impaired students at Hadapsar since last more than 25 years were keen to have a training workshop at their school. On Saturday 27th July a training workshop was organised by our club with the initiative of Rtn. Surendra Shroff. Ms Nisha Gujarathi conducted the workshop attended by about 15 students both Girls and Boys with the help of about 6 teachers and other staff. There was a wonderful and encouraging response from all of them. They are all looking forward to develop the expertise in making these bags to contribute their small bit towards the environment. They have requested for further training on this subject soon. Rtn Surendra Shroff, Rtn Anil Bora, Rtn.and Mrs. Manoj Archana Joshi from Surat were present.
