Minutes of Meeting Pre-fellowship started at 6 PM on Zoom where many members joined and interacted with each other on various topics. Post pre-Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. President Amitabha updated all members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 32,500 plus vaccines have been administered as on 7th July. The Project under Rtn Jignesh Patel is getting an overwhelming response. The club was also informed about the feat of Soham Pandit from Shirur taluka whose name was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for making 100 most-light-weight satellites. Rtn. Anil Bora on behalf of RCPC presented Soham with a brand new Samsung Tab as an appreciation and encouragement of his work. All members were asked to pay their annual subscription dues by 31st July. The cover page of the CentralNet of RCPC was unveiled and President informed that the hard copy of the CentralNet would be sent to members by end of July. We wished happy birthday to Rtn. Shrikant Sarda and happy wedding anniversary to Rtn. Dr. Rajiv and R'Ann Madhuri Narvekar. The guest speaker for the session was Ms. Seemantinee Khot who spoke on the interesting topic of 'Rurbanization'. Seemantinee, who is a farmer by choice is a sustainable development professional. In her talk, she focused on the recent trends of the urban and rural making inroads into each other's territory. Seemantinee, with her huge first-hand experience and extensive research in the domain gave new insights to the members about the rising trend of younger urban citizens moving to rural areas and contributing to its economy. She invited the members to visit her farmhouse located in Velhe in the outskirts of Pune city. Some even expressed interest to cycle to her farm. Semantinee could take only a few questions due to shortage of time and the members were left wanting to know more. Next Week meeting will be held on Saturday, 17TH July 2021 on ZOOM at 6.00 PM. Guest Speaker - Air Marshal Shirish Deo will talk on “Traitors and Treason in Indian context”
