Minutes of Meeting Club Assembly - Hybrid Mode! The first Club Assembly in the RY 2021-22 graduated from an online Assembly to a hybrid one. President Amitabha Mukhopadhyay presided over the meeting and updated the club on the activities that happened during the week. It was a great week for RCPC as during the District Awards function, our Club won a whopping 32 awards!! In the category of Clubs having members above 40 + members, RCPC won award for the Best Club and IPP Ajay Dubey won the award for the Best President. President updated about the donation of Rs 2,26,750 by Alkyl towards the Vaccination on Wheels Project. The Project has now administered 237286 vaccine doses. In continuation of RCPC Mobile Donation Program (started since July 2020 for the needy and deserving students), on 23rd Sept, in a simple ceremony twelve Samsung smart mobile phones were distributed at the Anjuman I Islam English medium school. Rtn. Anil Bora, Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala and Rtn. PP Munir Chinoy contributed towards these phones. R’Ann Nafisa and District Director Synergy Rtn. Pallavi Sable were present as well. Few books on Soft Skill development and on Ramayana, Mahabharata were also presented for the benefit of these students. Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala handed over 600 N95 face masks to Rtn. Anil Bora for Shirur Medical Camp. We wished happy birthday to Rtn. Ajit Kene, R'Ann Yasmin Patel, R'Ann Arti Thakur, Rtn. Baakir Baker and R'Ann Roma Makhija. WE wished Happy Anniversary to Rtn. Juhi Mathur and Mr Pankaj Mathur. Rtn. PP Ravi Kapoor made an individual announcement regarding Diabetes Check Camp ,to be organised nationally, to set a World Record of 1 million Camps in India. RCPC would be doing Camsp at Shirur with the support of Rtn Anil Bora and will have a target of 1000 test checks. Rtn. Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay then set the context for the Club Assembly and spoke about the strategic priorities. He also did a quick recap of all that happened in the first three months. Rtn. Vimal Saboo, VP and Director Club Administration spoke about the various programmes conducted by the Club in the last three months. There were almost 10 external speakers who interacted with the members on a wide range of topics. The Club has been conducting the programs in the best possible way keeping in mind the safety of the members. Rtn. Raman Nanda, Director Membership Development updated about the Committees activities towards new member recruitment and also urged all members to promote Rotary in their circles and recommend new members for the Club. The Retention Committee is working strongly for ensuring 95% retention this year by focusing on assimilation. Rtn. Dr Sarang Rote, Director Medical Projects updated members about the ongoing projects. President Amitabha updated about the non-medical projects, Youth Services, Rotary Foundation. Rtn. PP Ravi Kapoor updated about the CSR and Global Grant projects. We currently have 12 CSR donors, of which 4 are repeat Gestamp, Arya Omnitalk, Desai Brothers, ZF India, BMC Softwares, Seagate, ICERTIS, Tata Technologies, GTPL, Tranter India, Varsha Forgings, Ferrocare International. The CSR Awards is our flagship event and it will have to be planned as a physical one. IF the pandemic situation allows, will be organised in Apr - Jun 22 quarter. He also updated the members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project and all other GG projects in detail. Rtn. Sunil Asher, treasurer, presented the financial status of the Club. 118 members (out of 127) have paid their Annual Club Subscriptions dues RY 2021-22.. He urged the remaining 9 members also to pay the dues at the earliest. The fundraising Program will be organised in November 2021. The Assembly meeting ended with a Question Answer session followed by a sumptuous Lunch.
