| Minutes of Meeting | Pre-fellowship started at 6 PM on Zoom where many members joined and interacted with each other on various topics. Post pre-Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. President Amitabha updated all members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 317994 vaccines have been administered as on 16th Oct. You all are aware that our Rtn PP Dr. Polly Umranikar passed away in the year 2018. He was a renowned Gynaecologist and Professor Emeritus at B. J. Medical college. For his contribution to the Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (AMOGS) he has been recognized with a prestigious award "AMOGS RATNA AWARD" on 9th Oct 2021. Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala handed over 600 masks to Shri Gopal Rathi, Managing Trustee of the Seth Tarachand Ramnath Ayurvedic Hospital Trust. Rtn. Surendra Shroff, Rtn Sarang Rote and Rtn. Lekha Nair were also present. The President once again announced the date of the Nominating Committee Elections. It will be held electronically over Zoom on 20th November. Rtn Arvind Saraf has identified five ingredients for the most successful Rotary Clubs: • A unique club identity • Engaging club meetings • A robust, member-driven service program • A desire to socialize with others • Strong leadership He has invited comments from all of you on this topic so that we can take our Club to even greater heights. Chandrashekhar Naik and R'Ann Asha Naik, Rtn. Shirish and R'Ann Gaury Mohile. This week, Guest Speakers, Rtn Raman Nanda and Ms Nandita Khaire spoke on the topic - I love my Pune - 'Pune thithe kay Une '. Rtn Raman Nanda along with the entire team of Rotarians and his friends have put together a book on Pune which can serve as a guide to all newcomers to the City. It includes chapters on the language, attire, cuisine, rituals, functions, history, forts, shopping centres, defence establishments and much more useful information regarding Pune.
