| Minutes of Meeting | On 26th March, the Club had the Fund Raising Meeting organised at the Residency Club. Pre-fellowship started at 6:30 PM where many members joined and interacted with each other. Many of them had come for the first time for a physical meeting after Covid restrictions were relaxed. There was lot of enthusiasm and happiness to be able to meet each other after a long time. After Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. All the members congratulated Rtn. Nitin Desai for being declared winner of the 2022 Punya Bhushan Award. This Award is given by the Punya Bhushan Foundation for the last 32 years and is considered prestigious in the country and abroad. Rtn. Nitin Bhai Desai is being awarded for his contribution as an entrepreneur and social activist. President Amitabha updated all members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 22,08,330 vaccines have been administered as on 24th March. Daily dosage is at 34.772 now. We wished happy birthday to R'ann Rashi Sharma, Rtn. Dr Shona Nag and Rtn. Dr Gururaj Lachyan. We conveyed anniversary wishes to Rtn. Lalit an R’Ann Vidhu Vij, Rtn. Kanwal and R’Ann Urvashi Guliani, Rtn. PP Narayandas and Rtn. Aruna Rathi. Once the Club routine proceedings were done, President Amitabha invited Rtn Vipen Malhotra, the host of the fund raising to start the event. Rtn Vipen presented details of each Club project including the funds received so far and commitments made by donors. The shortfall for each Project was sought from the members who gave a tremendous response and the entire shortfall was covered in no time. Including pre-commitments, a total of Rs. 74.96 Lakhs were mobilized against our budget of Rs. 190.10 lakhs for Club Projects and a total of US$ 1.52 Lakhs were mobilized against our budget of US$ 1.52 for CHD Phase-2 Global Grant Project After a big-hearted fund raising program, all the members were treated to a sumptuous dinner by the Fellowship Committee. |
