| Minutes of Meeting | On a mildly chilly evening, Pre-Fellowship started at 6.30 p.m. at the Poona Club Terrace, where many members interacted on various topics. At 7 p.m., the meeting was called to order by President Uday Dharmadhikari, who extended a warm welcome to members and visiting Rotarians. A minute’s silence was observed in memory of Rtn. PDG Satish Kaushik, who passed away on November 5, 2022. President Uday thanked Rtn. PP Abhay Shah, Rtn. Varun Nagpal, Rtn. Shernaz Irani, and Rtn. Ajay Chitnis for their generous contributions to RCPC projects. President Uday gave a brief update on various Club projects, including the eye check-up camp at Yerawada Jail and the distribution of spectacles at Dakshana Foundation. He also gave a few details about the District Event Audarya — TRF Seminar, and requested RCPC members to participate in the event. Rtn. Vipen Malhotra informed members about the upcoming Piano Charity Concert, which will be held this evening at Mazda Hall, Dastur School, Pune Camp. The event is being sponsored by ICICI Securities. Rtn. Brig. PKM Raja gave members a short update on the upcoming Rotary Boxing Championship, which will be held on December 11, 2022, at MIT ADT Campus, Loni Kalbhor. We wished happy birthday to our fellow members R’Ann Madhuri Narvekar, Rtn. Aruna Rathi, Rtn. Yogesh Shah, Rtn. Anil Bora, R’Ann Anagha Shah, Rtn. Parvin Malhotra, and Rtn. PP Vijai Sarkar. We also wished Rtn. Nitin and R’Ann Sonia Rajore a happy wedding anniversary. The main item on the evening’s agenda was the Election of the Nominating Committee for Rotary Year 2023–24. Seven members were to be elected from amongst 13 contestants. Rtn. PE Ajay Chitnis, who was in charge of the election, apprised members about the entire voting process. RCPC members then cast their votes using the ballots provided. The results were brought in by the Presiding Officer, PE Ajay Chitnis, before the scheduled close of the meeting and were announced by President Uday Dharmadhikari.
