| Minutes of Meeting | Pre-Fellowship started at 6.30 p.m. at the Poona Club — Terrace, where many members interacted on various topics. President Uday Dharmadhikari called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. for the Annual General Meeting of the Rotary Club of Pune Central and welcomed all members, guests, and visiting Rotarians. The AGM’s Agenda included the presentation and approval of Club and Trust Accounts for the Year Ended June 30, 2022. President Uday thanked Rtn. PP Ebe Chaney and R’Ann Savita Dharmadhikari for their generous contributions to RCPC projects. He then gave a brief update on various Club activities, including the Financial Literacy Program conducted for the Maya CARE Team, installation of Interact Club, RYLA – Career Counselling Camp at Mulshi, the Annual Christmas Party for Children with Special Abilities, the pledge to have a town free of plastic bags, and installation of the Rotaract Club of Disha – Alandi. We wished happy birthday to our fellow members R’Ann Rajashree Shah, R’Ann Priyanka Banerjee, R’Ann Ahana Gupta, Rtn. Jeevan Mahaldar, and R’Ann Ruby Jhunjhunwala. We also wished happy wedding anniversary to Rtn. Anil and R’Ann Mangal Bora, Rtn. Sunil and R’Ann Jasma Asher, Rtn. PP Arvind and Rtn. Vidya Saraf, and Rtn. Pradip and R’Ann Nirmala Keluskar. Two new members, Mr. Aseem Srivastav and Ms. Yamini Zaveri, were inducted into the club. They were introduced by their respective proposers and welcomed by Pres. Uday and all the members. The pledge was administered by Pres. Uday Dharmadhikari. Rtn. Jignesh Patel gave a brief update on the new Project “AdoptAZindagi”. Rtn. IPP Amitabha Mukhopadhyay placed the RY 2021–22 Audited Financial Statement of RCPC Club and Trust accounts in the AGM. The accounts were approved by the members. At the end, President Uday Dharmadhikari introduced the RY 2023–24 Board of Directors in the meeting. The new board for RY 2023–24 were announced. The Annual General Meeting was followed by X’mas and New Year celebrations along with Fellowship Dinner. The members enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and live music. Everyone made the most of the opportunity to meet and greet each other. The evening’s Hosts and Fellowship Committee deserve a big “thank you”. |
