| Minutes of Meeting | We eagerly waited for this day — January 15, 2023, the Club Birthday. The program and Fellowship committee found an apt venue at Poona Club Golf Course — Terrace. Everyone dressed in their best and looked fabulous. Pre-Fellowship started at 6.30 p.m. with many members interacting on various topics. President Uday Dharmadhikari called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and welcomed all members, guests, and visiting Rotarians. President Uday thanked Rtn. Yogesh and R’Ann Hina Shah for their generous contributions to RCPC projects. President Uday gave a brief update on various Club projects, including the donation of a mannequin to Colonel’s Cube, an NGO that holds educational sessions for older persons and organises certified training courses for those interested to work as caregivers for the elderly. He also informed members about the upcoming Vocational Visit to Western India Forgings. We wished happy birthday to our fellow members R’Ann Jasma Asher, Rtn. Prabhat Singh, Rtn. Shirish Mohile, Rtn. Basant Almal, R’Ann Teena Goyal, R’Ann Jyoti Kapoor, and R’Ann Jalpa Tewari. We also wished happy wedding anniversary to Rtn. Payal and Mr. Sanil Rajpal, Rtn. Nandan and R’Ann Aniila Pugalia, Rtn. Nitin and R’Ann Shweta Vijaivergia, Rtn. Basant and R’Ann Savita Almal, Rtn. Behzad and Mr. Histas Randeria, Rtn. Surendra and R’Ann Radhika Shroff, and Rtn. Ashish and R’Ann Teena Goyal. RCPC’s 39th birthday was celebrated with the cutting of a cake by past Presidents as well as our current President, President Elect, and President Nominee. The food and drink (and cake!!) were yummy. We thank the Fellowship Committee for the same. Thanks also to Rtn. PP Ajay Dubey who sponsored the drinks. Last but not the least, the live Qawwali was amazing. The singers rocked the floor, with many Rotarians and Rotarianns joining in the fun. We look forward to celebrating many more Club birthdays. Happy Birthday! |
