Minutes of Meeting DG Visits RCPC District Governor Rtn. Dr. Anil Parmar visited RCPC on February 18, 2023. The DG’s visit began with an interaction with RCPC President Uday Dharmadhikari and Hon. Secretary Rtn. Varun Nagpal. This was followed by interaction with President Elect Rtn. Ajay Chitnis and President Nominee Rtn. Brig. PKM Raja along with members of the Strategic Planning committee. The DG also met with Director Youth Services Rtn. PP Madhavi Vaze, new members Rtn. Delshad Karanjia, and Rtn. Yamini Zaveri. This was followed by a Club Assembly meeting with the Board of Directors. Pre-Fellowship started at 6.30 p.m. at the Poona Club — Conference Hall 2, and President Uday Dharmadhikari called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The official visit with the Club members began with President Uday Dharmadhikari welcoming DG Rtn. Dr. Anil Parmar and First Lady Rtn. Dr. Hema Parmar. Assistant Governor Rtn. Shailendra Agarwal too was welcomed to the Club meeting along with guests and visiting Rotarians. President Uday thanked Rtn. Pravin Nadkarni and Rtn. Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva for their generous contributions to RCPC projects. President Uday gave a brief update on various Club projects and the visit to the 14 Trees Foundation. He also informed members about upcoming programs, including the annual vocational awards. We wished happy birthday to our fellow members R’Ann Bharati Dumbre, R’Ann Noorjahan Kazi, and Rtn. Sunil Asher. We also wished happy wedding anniversary to Rtn. PP Neeraj and R’Ann Seema Handa, Rtn. Anubhav and R’Ann Jalpa Tewari, and Rtn. PP Rajendra and R’Ann Rajashree Shah. President Uday presented the Club’s report and updates on the Club’s activities and achievements in the year so far. In his address to RCPC members, AG Shailendra Agarwal expressed his appreciation to the Club for its up-to-date compliances and reports. He also mentioned the Club’s efforts in assimilation, training, programs, and fellowships. He added that RCPC is one of the best clubs in the district. In his speech, DG Dr. Anil Parmar appreciated RCPC’s efforts in all service avenues and reiterated that RCPC is considered to be one of the best clubs in the district and has maintained its image since its inception. He congratulated all past and current Presidents for their contribution towards CSR, Club, and Global Grant projects. He once again requested all the members of RCPC to contribute to Rotary’s Annual Programs Fund. On the membership front, the Governor suggested that the only way to increase membership is to open more satellite clubs. He thanked members for being present at his visit in such large numbers. Rtn. Lekha Nair gave the vote of thanks and the meeting was adjourned by President Uday. Many thanks are due to the Fellowship Committee for the sumptuous Fellowship dinner with a special Mahashivratri menu. Thanks also to Rtn. President Uday Dharmadhikari who sponsored the drinks.
