Minutes of Meeting A Murder Mystery Solved by RCPC RCPC members stepped into the shoes of Sherlock Holmes to decipher cryptic clues to solve a mysterious murder. R’Ann Sonia Rajore enlisted the help of young students Divisha Jain, Deana Mittal and Hridhaan Mehta to compel RCPC members to put on their thinking caps to figure out several complex clues. The interactive activity proved to be great fun for participants. The evening began with President Ajay giving updates on contributions to the Spirit of Giving fundraising, ongoing Eye Check-up Camps, and the installation of our Interact Club at the Anglo-Urdu Boys High School. RCPC member Dr Anand Bhatia was congratulated for being honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the opening function of the Maharashtra State Anaesthesiologists Conference. Then it was Past President Suhas Merchant’s turn to reminisce about his term in office in 1991–1992, during which the theme was “Look Beyond Yourself”. Recalling the Club’s many projects, PP Suhas listed many achievements during his term in office, including printing copies of the Centralnet directory in the age of typewriters and manual typesetting; setting up Pay & Use toilets for the first time in Pune’s Market Yard; organizing free medical and plastic surgery camps; and summer placements for young students, among several other projects. He was conferred with the Outstanding President Award for District 3130 and the Outstanding Club Award for District 3130. We offered birthday greetings to Rtn. Baakir Baker, Rtn. Aseem Srivastav, R’Ann Roma Makhija, Mr Histas Randeria, R’Ann Rinku Nehra, R’Ann Razia Baker and R’Ann Namrata Sarda. The evening ended with a Happy Hours Fellowship hosted by Rtn. Nitin Rajore.
