| Minutes of Meeting | A Festive Celebration RCPC members celebrated Navratri with much enthusiasm at a Dandiya Night held at the New Club (Poona). The event chairperson Rtn. Amita Munot and R’Ann Jasma Ashar’s tasteful decorations of the venue put everyone in a festive mood. The lilting music soon had many of the elegantly dressed ladies twirling gracefully on the dance floor, and the smartly dressed gentlemen soon followed suit. Rtn. Lekha Nair had done an excellent job in organising the Fellowship snacks and dinner, beginning with paani puri, bhel and chaat, followed by special Navratri dishes such as rajgira puris with aloo curry, sabudana wada, vegetarian biryani, and ending with kulfi and gulab jamuns. As President Ajay Chitnis rightly pointed out: “RCPC is indeed proud of our Nari Shakti that made it a memorable evening for all of us.” Earlier in the evening, we wished happy birthday to Rtn. Subhash Devi, R’Ann Lata Agarwal, Rtn. Dakshata Agarwal, Rtn. Vanita Bajaj, R’Ann Usha Sakhrani and R’Ann Dipti Chitnis. Wedding anniversary greetings were offered to Rt. PP Arjun and R’Ann Aruna Jethwani, Rtn. Shirish and R’Ann Gaury Mohile, and Rtn. PP Dr Nasir and R’Ann Noorjahan Kazi. |
