| Minutes of Meeting | A Two-in-One Meeting Our Club meeting on November 17, 2023, had a two-fold purpose: firstly, to enable members to cast their vote to elect seven members of the Nominating Committee, and secondly, to enable members to download the Rotary 3131 App on their smart phones with assistance from Rtn. Madhvi Kshettry, Director of the Digital Club. The evening began with President Ajay Chitnis thanking Rtn. Yogesh and R’Ann Hina Shah for their generous donations; giving members an update on the Diwali Anand Mela celebrated by the Mook Badhir Shikshan Kendra (a school for Deaf and Mute children), where the highlight of the celebration was the lunch for all 120 children and their teachers sponsored by Rtn. Anil Bora; offering congratulations to Rtn. PP Dr. Nasir Kazi, who was felicitated at a get-together of more than 250 physicians at B.J. Medical College’s MD (internal medicine) alumni; and ending with reminders regarding District 3131’s The Rotary Foundation seminar on November 25, 2023 and the District 3131 Car Rally being held in December. The following Rotarians were elected to the Nominating Committee: Rtn. IPP Uday Dharmadhikari (Convenor), Rtn. Sunil Asher, Rtn. Dr. Saroj Bande, Rtn. PP Rakesh Bhargava, Rtn. Ashish Goyal, Rtn. Nitin Rajore, Rtn. Vimal Saboo. Birthday greetings were offered to R’Ann Madhuri Narvekar, Rtn. Aruna Rathi, Rtn. Yogesh Shah, Rtn. Anil Bora, R’Ann Anagha Shah, and Rtn. Parvin Malhotra. Wedding anniversary greetings were offered to Rtn. Nitin Rajore and R’Ann Sonia Rajore. |
