| Minutes of Meeting | Our meeting on August 31, 2024, was a vibrant tapestry of dedication, camaraderie, and the spirit of giving. As the clock struck 7:00 PM, President Brig. PKM Raja called us to order, and we stood together for the National Anthem, a moment that always fills our hearts with pride and unity. President Raja’s warm welcome set the tone for the evening. He shared updates on our ongoing projects, emphasizing the collective efforts that make our club so special. The ‘End Polio’ collection from last week amounted to INR 2000, a testament to our ongoing commitment to eradicating polio. The highlight of the evening was the presentation by Rtn. PP Raja Kharadkar and Rtn. Vipen Malhotra on our Fund Raising plans for the Rotary Year 2024-25. Their detailed and inspiring presentation outlined various strategies and goals to ensure a successful fundraising year. In an incredible display of generosity, within just 45 minutes, our members committed a staggering 1.2 Crore for social impact projects to be executed in the coming year. This overwhelming support truly embodies the spirit of giving that defines our club. The evening was also a time for celebration as we acknowledged the birthdays of several members: Rtn. Behzad Randeria on September 1, Rtn. Sanjiv Agarwal on September 2, R’Ann Hina Shah on September 2, R’Ann Seema Handa on September 4, Rtn. Minal Kering on September 5, R’Ann Radhika Malhotra on September 6, Rtn. Amita Munot on September 7, Rtn. Vinal Saboo on September 9, Rtn. Pravin Nadkarni on Sep tember 10, Rtn. Rakesh Kalra on September 11, and Rtn. Rajeev Sharma on September 11. We also extended our best wishes to Rtn. PP Parmod and R’Ann Ranjana Bhalla on their wedding anniversary on September 1. The evening concluded with heartfelt thanks from President Raja, followed by an announcement for the fellowship dinner. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM, marking the end of a productive and engaging session. Looking forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on 14th September 2024 as there was no meeting on September 7, 2024, due to the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday! |
