On 2nd February 2019, at noon, a beautiful program was held at KEM Hospital, Pune. This was dedicated to recognise children from lower socio-economic strata, who have successfully conquered blood cancer. Most of these patients suffered from Acute Lymphocytic Leukaemia (ALL) and now post-chemotherapy, they are expected to lead a normal life. This get-together of patients along with their families and the donors is an annual event conducted by Medical Social Worker department of KEM Hospital. Our own Rtn. PP Narayanbhau Rathi was the Chief Guest. RCPC is one of the financing NGOs, apart from other donors. Parents of some patients used this platform to acknowledge the timely help offered by all the donors. The beneficiaries were also given gifts by dignitaries. This felicitation program was followed by a performance (mangalagauri games entertainment) by Anandi group formed by teachers in private and corporation schools.
