We are delighted to share the success of two recent Eye Check-up Camps conducted in collaboration with the Community Eye Care Foundation. These camps aimed at providing comprehensive eye examinations to school children and were instrumental in identifying and addressing potential vision issues. On Tuesday, the 28th of November, the Eye Check-up Camp took place at Sarhad School, Dhankawadi, Katraj, where a total of 531 children underwent thorough eye examinations. Among these children, 46 were referred to the clinic for further intervention, 42 will be provided with glasses, and 02 received reading glasses. Additionally, 36 staff members took advantage of the initiative and had their eyes checked for potential issues. Continuing our commitment to eye care, on Wednesday, the 29th of November, another Eye Check-up Camp was held at Sarhad School, Gujarwadi, Katraj. This school, situated atop a hill with breathtaking views reminiscent of Mahabaleshwar, hosted a total of 775 children who underwent comprehensive eye examinations. Out of these, 27 were referred to the clinic for further intervention, 58 will be provided with glasses, and 08 received reading glasses. Moreover, 47 staff members participated in the initiative by having their eyes checked. Their dedication has played a crucial role in promoting eye health and well-being among school children and staff members alike.
