Rotary Club of Pune Central collaborates with the Indian Maritime Foundation (IMF) to organize a series of Coastal and River Banks Clean-up events. On Friday January 19, 2024 marked the third clean-up in Pune, specifically at Bund Garden. Enthusiastically, 50 students and teachers from Anjuman I-Islam School actively participated. The event garnered support from notable figures, including Capt. Dixit (President IMF), Rotarian Maithili, Capt. Shetty (Sea Scouts & Guides), Mrs. Divya (IWC), and Rtn. PK Malhotra, all present to encourage the enthusiastic participants. Notably, Mr. Vivek and his team from the Adaar Poonawala Clean City initiative (APCCI) promptly collected over 10 bags of waste, contributing to the success of the clean-up.
