The Sayudh School for the deaf & dumb at Hadpasar reflects the efforts taken by organizations such as Rotary Club of Pune Central for the education of specially abled, poor, underprivileged children for whom education is a faraway dream and an extremely difficult destination of life to reach. Mrs Ranade, a middle class lady in Sadashiv peth , started this Surud Mandal few years back with 5 children in her home & since then it has spread wings & Now there are 4 schools in pune . RCPC installed Sayudh Interact club in this school proudly with a promise of great help to them. After the usual steps of installation, oath to the next Board of Directors, & giving pins to them by Pres. Brig Raja, the principal gave a short speech. The new President of Interact club who is deaf and dumb, gave her speech in sign language and their teacher explained to us with words. That was a very emotional moment for all of us. They have a big list of projects & programs wherein they have sought the help of RCPC and we have to try and help them wherever possible. President Raja gave an inspiring speech which again, was explained to them in sign language by their teacher.
