On September 5, 2024, the Rotary Club of Pune Cantonment (RCPC) proudly participated in the International Spinal Cord Injury Day celebrations at the Military Hospital Kirkee. Brigadier Raja, President of RCPC, and Rtn Shireesh Nadkar, Director of Service Projects, attended the event organized by the Spinal Cord Injury Centre. The occasion was a poignant tribute to the resilience and bravery of numerous Tetraplegic, Quadriplegic, and paraplegic soldiers and officers of the Indian Armed Forces. The event provided a platform to recognize their unwavering spirit and honor their contributions. By attending this significant event, RCPC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries and promoting inclusivity and accessibility in the community.
