President Ramesh Dumbre began his first day of the Rotary year by participating in tree plantation drive organized at Azam Campus on the 1st of July. Rtns Munawar Peerbhoy, Arvind Saraf & Giri Sakhrani were also present. One of the girls recited a poem about the need to grow more trees. Five Saplings were planted. The tree plantation programme by the new President is a tradition maintained for the last 17 years, thanks to the efforts of Rtn Munawar Peerbhoy. He has been singularly responsible for this activity and as usual the arrangements were perfect.
