On 10th September, 2023 District Interact Assembly was held at COEP Auditorium, Shivaji nagar organised by Rotary Club of Pune South. Four of our Interact Clubs participated. 7 Interactors and 2 teachers Ms Yamin Shaikh and Mrs. Tazin Shaikh of Anglo Urdu Boys' High School attended the Interact Meet. All the teachers and Interactors received certificate of participation. Young Swaleha Baig Performed a solo dance that was much appreciated by all. 20 Interactors and 3 Teachers from the Jagruti School for Blind Girls participated and performed a group dance, for which they were awarded the second prize. 10 Interactors and 2 Teachers from the Anjuman-Islam School also participated and won the Third Prize for their Skit. The program was held in the presence of Rtn Manjoo Phadke (District Governor), PDG Dr Shailesh Palekar (DRFC 22-25 & District Trainer), Rtn Unmesh Risbood (District Executive Secretary), Rtn. Vilas Ravande (Dist. Adm. Secretary), Rtn. Vivek Dixit (Dist Secretary Events and Meets). The key note speaker was Mr Makarand Tilloo. He gave a very good motivational speech and the interactors enjoyed it a lot. The program was followed by a break out session and cultural activity which included skits, patriotic songs and dance performances of various schools. Breakfast and Lunch was provided for the teachers and students.
