The project will be implemented over a 2 year period and will aim to: 1. Advance and promote the cause of pure science careers in India, especially for women 2. Provide career development assistance for students pursuing studies in pure sciences, nano technology, food technology at the graduate and post graduate level, with the focus on female students. 3. Create awareness about career opportunities in the sciences, and assist students to prepare themselves for such careers. 4. Provide mentoring facilities to help youth build confidence and develop soft skills needed to succeed in the professional world of scientific careers.
