As per our proud tradition, our club organized a Christmas Party for 250 Special Children on Dec. 21st. Participants included mentally challenged children from the “Navshitij Institution”, Leukemia stricken children sent by the CPAA, children suffering from Thalesemia, Cancer patients from the “Sofosh Society” of KEM Hospital, Deaf and Mute Students from the Bharari school, “children sponsored by “Eklavya”, an organization that works with children from the Red Light area and street children, Visually challenged college going students from the “Vasudeo Pratishthan”, orphans from the Anjuman Islam Orphanage, and others. Music, Dancing, Tattoo artists, Bouncy and a Magic show kept the children enthralled for the entire duration. The liveliness and the cheer on the faces of the children was an extremely heartwarming sight, and a number of misty eyes were noticed. The event was covered by the local press.
